Expert Hands, Intentional Practice

Our Standard of Care

At Devotion Yoga, your well-being is our highest priority. We believe that to truly let go on the mat, you must first feel entirely safe and supported. That is why we've established a rigorous Standard of Care for every member of our teaching team.

Each instructor is a highly vetted professional with a minimum 200-hour RYT certification. They all have an active Yoga Alliance membership, which reflects not only their foundational expertise but a lifelong dedication to the highest ethical standards and continuing education.

For your peace of mind, our entire staff is fully insured, CPR/AED certified, and has passed a comprehensive multi-point background check. With many of our teachers also holding advanced certifications in specialized modalities, we take the 'art of the flow' seriously. We've handled the details behind the scenes so you can step onto your mat with total confidence and focus entirely on your practice.

Kristin S.

Kristin S.

Yoga Instructor

After spotting a flyer at a local metaphysical shop in 1993, Kristin Segal attended her very first yoga class in a modified garage—and she has been in love ever since. Her deep fascination with the body and mindful movement led her to complete massage therapy training in 1996 , a background that gives her an incredible, intuitive understanding of anatomy and safe alignment. Decades of a dedicated personal practice eventually led her to earn her yoga teaching certification in 2019. Kristin’s style is uniquely her own: a beautiful blend of deep reverence and lighthearted joy. She draws from a rich well of influence—integrating elements of Iyengar, Kundalini, and restorative practices —to ensure every single student feels successful on their mat. Whether you are joining her for an active flow , a gentle practice , or a quiet yin session infused with crystal bowl sound healing, you are in incredibly expert hands. A passionate music lover, Kristin takes great care in curating thoughtful playlists to elevate the energy of her space. Always evolving, she is looking forward to completing her advanced 300-hour training this summer to bring even more depth to her students. Off the mat, Kristin fills her life with creativity and comfort: cooking, entertaining, creating fiber art, spending time with family, and inevitably looking for more rescue animals to bring home.
